The Students’ Union Awards 2025 will take place on Thursday, 3rd April 2025 from 7:00pm to 11:30pm at the Macrobert Arts Centre.
Tickets are £35 and include sandwiches and finger food buffet, a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, awards, photobooth, and ceilidh
Attire: Formal (Sustainable fashion encouraged)
Our annual Society Awards Ball has been transformed into the Students’ Union Awards. This will allow our amazing societies to still get the recognition they deserve whilst also ensuring other student volunteers across the university are being recognised for their hard work.
Whether you're part of a society, an Academic Rep, a Steer Peer Mentor, a Volunteer Officer, or a student making a difference – this night is about you. Students are the heartbeat of the University community, and we can’t wait to celebrate all your incredible achievements.
This year, we’re embracing sustainability, encouraging guests to wear something they already own or purchase second-hand.
We’ve listened to your feedback and taken on board your thoughts on how to make the event more inclusive and accessible while keeping its integrity. With a refreshed format, this year’s event is shaping up to be the best one yet. For the first time, our event will be held at Macrobert Arts Centre, a hub of Stirling’s creative scene and the perfect backdrop for a truly special night. Expect student performances, a dynamic awards ceremony in a professional theatre setting, a fresh take on dining options, and our classic ceilidh – all designed to make the annual awards night bigger and better than ever.

Awards Nominations
Think someone deserves to be recognised? Nominations open on Thursday 13th February – don’t miss your chance to highlight the incredible efforts of our student community. Nominations will be available from 13th February on the Students' Union website.
Information About Your Ticket
Tickets go on sale from 13th February from 10am, so grab yours and be part of an unforgettable night!
Tickets are limited to one per University of Stirling student member.
When buying, you will be asked a series of questions to ensure we seat you with your relevant peers, understand your dietary requirements and consider any accessibility requirements you may have.
Once a ticket has been bought, your name will be added to a list. This ticket is attached to your name so cannot be transferred. You will not be given a physical/printed ticket until the day of the Awards. These physical tickets can be collected between 9.30am-3pm from the Atrium, on the day of the event. You cannot collect a ticket on behalf of another student.
We will be unable to refund any tickets purchased. Should you no longer be able to attend and either have someone else you'd like to give your ticket to or wish to offer it to someone on the waiting list, you MUST contact the Students' Union to arrange as we need to ensure seat allocation, dietary and accessibility requirements.
