What is the RSPB's Big Garden Bird Watch?
The RSPB's Big Garden Bird Watch occurs every year and is the world's largest garden wildlife survey. Hundreds of thousands of people across the UK send in the data they collect over an hour, allowing for the RSPB to develop an idea of how our birds are faring. This data is essential to monitor our birds and to protect them.
Whether you have a garden, a love for birds, or simply a want to get out the house for an hour, come join us on campus on Saturday the 24th of January for our Big Garden Bird Watch!
We will be meeting outside the NISA at 0945 where we'll split into around 3 groups and head to pre-selected sites around the University campus where our hour of counting will start at 1000.
As this activity will take place outside (and during a Scottish January!) please make sure you dress appropriately. We will also be outside for an hour so bring yourself a drink or some snacks if wanted.
