Pitching, Presenting and Public Speaking is a high‑value employability and skills workshop designed to help students strengthen their communication confidence.
Led by specialist trainer Calum Moore, the session blends the creative arts with professional development. Calum is a former theatre director and trained actor who now applies acting techniques to business communication. With experience teaching public speaking for organisations such as Acting Coach Scotland and Minimegaton Solutions, alongside a Master’s degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he brings a practical, engaging approach to overcoming nerves and speaking with authority.
This interactive workshop gives students hands‑on tools to manage anxiety, project confidence, and present ideas effectively, whether in class presentations, job interviews, or professional pitches. Through exercises in voice control, storytelling, and physical presence, participants learn how to “act” the part of a confident communicator. Students will leave with tangible skills to boost both their employability and their self-belief.
