To mark the final day of Students’ Union Spring Elections voting, the Green & Blue Space is hosting a Kilo Sale in the Atrium on Thursday 26 February, 11am–4pm.
This is a great opportunity to shop sustainably and support the circular economy. Buying second-hand keeps clothes in use for longer, reduces textile waste, and lowers the environmental impact associated with fast fashion. By choosing pre-loved items, you’re helping cut carbon emissions and conserve resource, while finding affordable pieces at the same time.
How it works:
- £5 per kilo (minimum charge £1, card only)
- £1 off if you bring your own bag (minimum spend £3)
- Donations of clothing will also be accepted on the day
To celebrate elections, if you show proof that you’ve voted, you’ll be able to pick up selected items for free.
