Join our habitat creation project!
We’re excited to share that, in partnership with the Earth & Environment Society and the BES Department, we’ve launched a new habitat creation project on campus!
The first milestone is installing 31 bird boxes and 3 tawny owl boxes to support local wildlife and create research opportunities for future students! Find out key dates on how YOU can get Involved!
-18 & 25 February – 2–4pm Wednesday Gardening Sessions – Two opportunities to build bird boxes (6 boxes each session).
-23 February – 12:30–3:30pm Bird Box Installation Day Meeting at the Green & Blue Space before walking around campus to install boxes.
-12 March – Green Week Bioblitz (1pm to 2pm) Bird Box Installation Meeting at the Green & Blue Space before heading out across campus.
