This hands-on session will transform surplus ingredients donated to the community fridge and pantry into a delicious shared vegan risotto meal. By creatively using food that might otherwise go to waste, we’ll highlight practical ways to make our food systems more sustainable and reduce unnecessary disposal.
Once the meal is prepared and we sit down to eat together, there will be a short presentation exploring food justice, the environmental impact of food waste, and how surplus food redistribution can support both people and the planet!
