Celebrating Diwali
Venue, Students' Union, Other
Come along to celebrate a festival of light at the University of Stirling!
Join us at 5:00pm on Friday 6 November 2026 to celebrate the spiritual victory of "light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance" as part of our 'BeConnected' programme (free community building events for students and staff).
Pop down to Venue and enjoy traditional bites, music, and, if you're feeling creative, build your own decorative lamps to take home and enjoy.
Traditional dress is encouraged if you have this. If you do not, we would love you to show support for the celebration by dressing in something of yellow, orange, or red colour to symbolise fire and light!
Grab your free ticket now to register your place at the event!
The event is open to all students and staff. Please note, we expect this event to sell out quickly so if you are unable to grab a ticket, feel free to pop by on the day and we will accommodate you if there is space available.
Event is subject to change and complimentary offerings available while stocks last. This event forms part of our Be Connected programme, available on the University of Stirling website. Contact events@stir.ac.uk for all associat ed queries.
