Stirling Train Station, Stirling
Join us at Stirling Train Station for a powerful awareness event hosted by White Ribbon, inviting men and boys to step forward, challenge harmful norms, and become active allies in ending violence against women and girls.
White Ribbon is a movement rooted in the understanding that violence against women is not just a “women’s issue” — it’s everyone’s issue. They call on men and boys to make a promise: to never commit, excuse or remain silent about male violence, and to intervene safely when they witness abusive behaviour. thepixelproject.net+4MenEngage+4White Ribbon UK+4
What to expect:
Brief, impactful messages and pledges
Information and support materials on positive bystander action
Friendly conversations with volunteers and campaigners
This isn’t about shaming — it’s about inspiring change. We want more men to see the power they have in shifting culture, speaking out, and protecting safety in everyday moments.
Who should attend: Everyone is welcome, especially men and boys who want to be part of the solution.
Let’s make our public spaces places of respect, safety, and care. Wear your white ribbon, bring your voice, and stand with us.
The Students’ Union is taking part in 16 days of Activism from 25th November to 10th December. The Global 16 Days Campaign is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from the 25th of November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to the 10th of December, International Human Rights Day. We mark this period to both remember those lives lost due to gender-based violence, and to demand a safer and fairer society.
